Explosions
Yes, some explosions took place in Bangkok today.  Thank you if you come here to check about our safety.  We are ok.  We gotta admit things are getting quite out of hand lately.  We hope things will get better soon and nobody will get hurt anymore.  We'll keep our updates here.

We're fine but upset
Ok, by now we're used to state of emergency but closing the international airport!  That's just too much.  Next week will be a rare vacation for Daddy Steve and we planned to go on a snowboard trip to Japan.  We even bought some stuff for Jamie for this snowboard trip but with days go by without any improvement on the ariport shut down situation, our hope is thin.

I used to love this country but now I'm starting to doubt it.

We're fine (under Thailand's state of emergency)
Thank you for checking on us.  We received numerous phone calls, SMS, emails, or even message on this site that asked about our situation in Thailand.  Yes, as you see on the news, the political situation here is indeed unstable.  But it hasn't really been affecting our daily life until in these 2 days I'm starting to get trip cancellations or meeting location changes from overseas
acquaintances.  It all feels like dejavu.  Exactly 2 years ago when the bloodless coup took place, we also received a lot of phone calls and many friends cancelled their trips to here.  Didn't expect such thing to happen again during our stay in Thailand.  Next week, I'll have to go to Singapore for a meeting because other participants' governments warn them against traveling to Thailand.  Disappointing but completely understandable.  No one can guarantee what will happen.  We hope this unrest will end quickly and peacefully.

A more user-friendly site!
Many of you have been visiting this site since its opening.  I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support, and interest in Jamie.  I know quite a number of you visit this site frequently.  I must say you all are too kind in not complaining about how difficult it has been to follow updates on this site.  I know it's been difficult because I never made it obvious which page has been updated and the updated content is always on the bottom on pages.

As Jamie grows, the site content grows too.  It's about time for me to re-organize things on the site to make it more user-friendly, as a token of appreciation for your continuous support.

The 2 main changes are:
1) The most recently updated pages will show the updated date in month/day format on the site menu.  You won't have to check every single page anymore!
2) On most pages, content will appear in the order from most recent to oldest content.  You won't have to scroll down to check anymore!

I hope these changes will make it easier for you to follow Jamie's updates.  Enjoy!

Welcome!
Welcome!

Since most of our family and friends live abroad, we decided to put up this website to share updates about Jamie.  Please feel free to browse through this site to learn about the different aspects of little Jamie's life.

We'll update this site from time to time so make sure you visit often.

And if you have the time, please sign the Guestbook.  We'll relay your message to Jamie!

Need your input!
In the corner of "Family and Relatives", we are trying to introduce as many members as possible.  We intend to save this site even when it's gone offline so that Jamie can see it and get to know all these special people himself.

If you are a family member or relative and you don't see your photo there, please send us one so that we can put you in this corner too.  Of, if you see your photo there because we have selected one for you but you don't like what you see, send us your best shot and we'll replace it in no time.  Please don't mind the order of introduction as it does not reflect any significance.

Also, we are not sure how Jamie should address some of the parents' relatives.  If you're familiar with the relation of a child and her parents' relatives, please inform us!  We are very lost especially because Joey got a big family.

Thank you!

From the proud parents of Jamie – Joey & Steve
