Well, we thought that 10 months would be a good age to travel. I guess we were wrong. Emma did remarkably well on the plane, but lost it on the 2 hour drive to Sedona from Phoenix. I don't really blame her though. I would have screamed and cried if I could have too. Traveling has definitely changed. "Pleasure Trip"... what's that?

It took Emma almost the entire trip to adapt to the time difference. She was up almost every night around 3:00 or 4:00 am. Matthew and I were exhausted, but we didn't want to miss out on our vacation either so we just zombied through our days.

Ironically enough, Matthew and I couldn't wait to get home from our vacation. We know this will get easier, but I think we're going to wait until Emma can carry her own luggage before we try this again.
