Believe it or not, Emma was completely resisting baby food and we were getting kind of worried. She would take rice cereal from a bottle, but that was it.

Finally, we decided to try stage 3 foods that have more texture. She loved it. Frankly, I don't blame her. I wouldn't want to eat that mush either.

Emma's grandma was the one who came up with the idea of taking her pants off so she wouldn't have friction with the carpet and it worked! Right away she seemed to get the concept and was off on her way. We haven't been able to stop her yet.

I was leaving to go shopping and I waved by to Emma as she sat perched in her Daddy's arms. I said "bye, bye Emma" and she responded with "bye, bye". It was unbelieveable!
