Those Maternal Instincts Kicked in Early
I've pretty much known since I was about 4 that I wanted to be a Mom someday. I was always drawn to baby dolls or barbies. But nothing prepares you for the overwhelming love you feel when you finally get the opportunity to do it for real.

Emma is one of the happiest, if not THE happiest baby I have ever seen. She is always laughing and smiling and pointing that little finger of hers. I just couldn't ask for any more.

I'm So In Awe
The first few days Emma was home I just remember staring at her for hours. I didn't want to leave her side for fear something would happen to her. Her little tiny lips are so sweetly shaped like a rosebud and those cheeks are just so plump and rosy. I just wanted to eat her up.

The Bond Between Mother and Child
It's just so amazing to experience the love I feel for and from Emma. She is so dependant on me and I love that. Her little smile and shriek of happiness when I come through the door just melts me.

Sometimes I find it so hard to be away from her. Every baby I see reminds me of Emma. I know that I was meant for this.

I Love Watching Matthew and Emma
Watching Matthew and Emma is so rewarding for me. Matthew is such a good father and seeing him nuture Emma just makes me love him more.
