Check out the video of me learning to swim! The video was shot on July 14, 2007. I'm much better now after practicing almost every weekend with Mom and Dad. Learning to Swim
We added a video from July 12, 2007. For all of you that are familiar with Spongebob, you know what a Krabby Patty is. And in one episode, Spongebob decided to create Pretty Patties which are simply a Krabby Patty with a colorful bun. Well my Pretty Patties are a bit different and I'm sure you've never eaten anything like it! You should try it one day. Click here for the video: Pretty Patties
We've had lots of fun this summer, despite all the rain in the beginning. We've spent almost every weekend in the pool and my Mom and Dad think I'm quickly becoming an incredible swimmer. We've uploaded lots of pics so be sure to take a look: Summmertime Fun 2007
Last month I went roller skating with my friend Dailey. We had a great time but as you can see in the video, spent most of it on the side of the rink dancing to the music. Roller Skating
So the night before last my Mom and I watched "Freedom Over Texas" on television. It's the largest land-based fireworks show and included a concert by Montgomery Gentry. Well you know what an attention grabber I am, so I had to show MG just how it's done. We don't listen to Country music too much so I had to improvise most of my performance. My Mom sure thought it was funny though and thought you might get a kick out of it too. 4th of July 2007
Happy 4th of July everyone! I have a lot to update you on, but
as usual, it will be coming in slowly.
Last Friday, after a few
days of being terribly ill, my Dad ended up in the emergency room for an
appendectomy. I had a good time though because I got to stay overnight at
my Aunt Sarah's house so my Mom could stay with my Dad.
So given
that my Dad needs time to recuperate, we didn't get out much for the 4th
festivities, not to mention our annual tradition of watching the fireworks from
Lewisville Lake. Well the truth is, I can't exactly blame my Dad for
that. As I'm sure you've heard, we have had almost non-stop rain in Texas
and almost all of the boat ramps are closed at the area lakes. Many
counties have been under flash flood warnings for weeks now. I did get to
watch the Addison Kaboom Town air show and fireworks though, and my Mom took me
to the little community parade down the street from our house.
I added a
story and photos from the Texas Scottish Festival and Highland Games that we
went to on June 2nd. Enjoy! Texas
Scottish Festival
Yes, I know ... it's been a REAL long time and we have a lot to tell you
about. The last few months have been filled with lots of fun and
excitement.
My Grandma Jeannie, Grandpa Mike and Cousin Lexi came to stay
with us in Texas last month for five days. We've had a very wet Spring but
the weather cooperated with us while they were here and we all had a real fun
time. We played in the swimming pool, went to the Scarborough Renaissance
Festival, and went to a Texas Rangers baseball game.
Spring has definitely sprung in Texas. What beautiful weather we've been having -- mid-70's and sunny (with the exception of one day this week where it turned as dark as midnight at 3:00 in the afternoon!).
We spent last Sunday at Lake Ray Roberts. We've been studying rocks, fossils and minerals at school this week so my Mom and Dad took me to the lake to hunt for rocks and fossils to take for show & tell. But before we left for the lake, we welcomed back an old friend -- the Lil' Hawker. That's right ... the Mohawk returned for a second time in my short four years.
In addition to studying geology, we also kicked off Spring with a daily theme, and Monday was "Crazy Hair Day." Well for all of you who know me, you know that every day is crazy hair day in my world, so my only option for shaking things up a bit was to have my Mom bring out the clippers. My Mom and Dad think I look pretty darn cute! And for all of you that disagree, don't worry -- my hair grows faster than Lightning McQueen in the Piston Cup and it will be all grown out in four weeks. Click on the pictures and decide for yourself: Mohawk the Second
Wow - Website updates three days in a row! You're my hero, Mom. It's a bit dated and I've improved some since, but if you click on the link below, you'll be taken to a video of me performing a concert for my Mom and Dad on September 14, 2006. Enjoy! Tiger Rock Star
Well it looks like my Mom came through for us. She uploaded a video from my Christmas program that was held on December 13th. Click the link to view the video (please note that you will be leaving my Website and entering "Tiger's Video Archive"): Christmas Preschool Program Video
Well as you can
tell, the talk I had with my Mom a few months ago about making my Website a
priority didn't do too much good. We've had about 280 hits since our last
update so we can tell that some of you are anxious. We need to give her a
break though -- not only has she been REALLY busy with the t-shirt business, but
she has also been consumed for the last few months at work leading up to an
announcement that was released just a few days ago. The company she works
for will be acquired by a much larger organization headquartered in another part
of the country. It's too early to tell what this means for my Mom, but all
I really care about is that she's happy ... and that she starts maintaining this
Website to the standards that we all expect from her!
Surprise! We decided to get down to business and update my Website with
Halloween pics promptly (rather than taking a month to get around to it).
Hopefully we can continue this trend going forward! I'll keep reminding my
Mom that TigerJake.com is a priority since I know many of you look forward to
reading about what I've been up to. Halloween
2006
Once again, I have to apologize -- it's been over a month since our last
update. I know many of you have been checking in frequently because my
site has had around 150 hits since our last update. My Mom seriously needs
to put everything else aside occasionally and help me give you all something to
read about!

It has been over a month since anything new has been posted on my Website -- sorry about that! My Mom has been really busy with a new venture that she fell into accidentally. So instead of spending her late nights keeping TigerJake.com updated, she's been working a part time job as a t-shirt designer from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am.
It all started out because she was tired of searching endlessly for cool and unique shirts for me without having to pay a fortune ... so she did something about it. She created a couple of designs on the computer and transferred them to t-shirts. They turned out so cute that she decided to see if she could sell them. They each sold for over $20. So of course she couldn't stop there. She has made and sold over 60 t-shirts in the past few weeks, selling for a minimum of $7.99 plus shipping. I'm hoping she's saving the money for a new toy for me!!! She also made a couple of personal custom designs that are awesome -- one for me and one for my friend, MaKenna, for her birthday.
My Mom FINALLY finished uploading pictures from our trip to Utah. Click on the link in the entry below (08/07/2006) to jump to the story and photo album.
Also added pics of me riding a pony at school on July 19th. Pony Pics
My Mom hasn't posted any good stories lately because she said nothing newsworthy has happened ... but I wanted to take a moment and tell everyone what I've been up to anyway.
At school I've been learning about different countries. My teacher gave me a passport and my classmates and I spend each week learning about a different country. The first week we spent learning about our own country, the mighty United States of America. The next two weeks were Italy. We made an Italian flag, necklaces out of pasta, and pizza. We had an Italian festival on the last day with lots of food, music and fun.
We'll spend next week learning about Kenya. We'll make African masks, talk about animals that live in Kenya, and learn how to dance to African music.
Today was wacky dress-up day at school. If you click on the link for the photo, you'll see that my Mom had a little too much fun dressing me up. She kept calling me "Alfalfa" -- whatever that means. I didn't mind the clothes but the hairstyle is my definition of a bad joke. I'm used to the messy look so she had to trick me into looking like a nerd by shaking her hands back and forth while she was smoothing down my locks at the same time. The worst part? I think my Mom was the only parent that remembered today was "Wacky Dress-up Day". It must be criminal for a Mother to have this much fun at her child's expense! Alfalfa Pic (After you click on the link, you'll need to scroll through a few pictures to get to the one I'm talking about.)
Added a couple of videos about our trip to Caddo Lake. Click on the link to hear my Mom interview me about our weekend. You will be directed to "Tiger's Video Archive." Caddo Trip Interview
Added a new webpage called "School Days". First entry is about the spring
program with my preschool class. Click on the link for details: Spring Preschool

The other day I was shopping with my Mom. As we passed an American Flag, I surprised her by reciting the Pledge of Allegience. She was so impressed by it that she made me do it in front of the video camera. Click on the link to see the video: Pledge of Allegience
The Fort Worth Zoo is currently displaying an exhibit called DinoRoars and we
went on Sunday. We came face-to-face with mechanical life-size creatures,
including dinosaur adults, babies and even a dinosaur egg that is expected to
hatch very soon. The exhibit features tons of prehistoric, robotic
dinosaurs set in various locations throughout the park. And some are even
programmed with tiny computers and pneumatic hoses that cause them to move and
roar, almost life-like! We spent the afternoon taking a fun and
educational journey to the Mesozoic Era when dinosaurs ruled the earth.

Spent the afternoon at the Fort Worth Stockyards. Learned about the historic American West frontier, watched a Comanche Pow Wow, and sat on a real Texas longhorn. Be sure to click on the link to hear all about it. Let's hit the trail, pardners! Tiger in Cowtown

eh!
There hasn't been much going on at Casa de Anderson over the last month besides going to school and playing around the house, so we haven't had too much to tell you about. My Mom will probably disagree with me though -- she thinks there's always too much going on and not enough time to relax! We added some photos of me playing at the park and a trip to Grapevine Lake. Happy Birthday to Me, Happy Birthday to Me ... What a week I

My Mom was finally able to get me to count from 1-10 in Spanish while she videotaped me. I usually clam right up when she turns that thing on but she bribed me with CANDY!! I was so excited about the candy that I threw in a few somersaults as well! Cuenta en Espanol
We've added a story and photos from our trip to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. Click on the link to hear about what my crazy Dad did this time. African Safari in Texas
My Mom decided to add a "Monthly Tracker" page. She has been keeping it updated behind the scenes ever since I was born but just recently decided to activate it for others to view. Click here if you're interested: Monthly Tracker

We uploaded lots of new pictures from my photo session today (August 6, 2005). Unfortunately my session was right in the middle of my nap time so I kind of have sleepy eyes. But that didn't stop me from acting silly as you can tell in most of the pictures. The photographer took almost 80 shots of me! Click here to view: 2.5 Years Old
A new story and photos have been added about my experience attending the 134th Edition of The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. The Greatest Show On Earth!
On June 11th, I went fishing on Lake Lewisville with my Mom and Dad. It was a ton of fun and we caught lots of fish. Check out the video by clicking here: Catching the Big One
Last weekend, several family members from Utah came to visit. We spent lots of time in the pool, some went fishing, some went to Six Flags and the ladies spent some time shopping. I think everyone had a good time. We took lots of pictures and have posted a few in the photo album. Hopefully we can get around to uploading more later. Take a look if you're interested. You'll need to flip through various other photos to get to them. Photo Album
My Mom couldn't sleep last night so she spent some time adding hyperlinks throughout my site for easier navigation. She also added a page under "Other Info." that lists links to our favorite sites. You can check them out by clicking here: Our Favorite Links. Make sure to let us know if you find any broken links. I'm not completely confident in her Webmaster skills at 3:00 in the morning!

We just posted a new video of me riding my new motorized wave runner on May 27th. It has a water blaster so I can squirt my Mom & Dad ... and everything else within reach. Now I can cruise around the pool at speeds of up to 2 feet per second. Wow!! Click on the link for the video: Tiger's Wave Runner
My Mom added a new video of me and my Dad playing in the pool. This video was taken on April 17th (the first time we took a dip in our new cement pond). Here's the link: Tiger Shark
My Mom finally found some time to update my Website. We're so excited to finally unveil the new and improved tigerjake.com. It has a new look that I sure like and hope you do too!
