| For my first Labor Day, my mom and dad took me up north for the first time. We stayed at a cottage on a great lake, and I had my first visit to the beach! I really liked standing in the waves and the sand. |

| Eating Cereal |

| On July 28, 2008, I had solid food for the first time. I tried to rice cereal mixed with mommy's milk, and I even ate most of it with a spoon! I don't know about it though. Solid food is weird stuff. I still prefer milk. |

| Massachusetts Trip |

|
|
|
| In July my mommy and I went to Massachusetts so I could meet everyone out there. It was very fun, but I did miss my daddy a lot. |

| Katie's First Fourth of July |

| Katie enjoyed her first Fourth of July very much. She dressed up in a patriotic dress, playing with Nana and Grandpa, and even went in the pool for the first time. She slept through the fireworks and didn't even cry. |

| Katie went on her very first trip to Washington, DC for a wedding. She had her first plane flight, and her first hotel stay. She did very well and had a great time. |
