Sam was a little angel as he celebrated Christmas with all the relatives. He got a lot of perfect presents that he will play with all year, and he didn't get into too much trouble as he really is running and loves to explore everything!

Steve and Kim Cecil are the pastors of our church, "The Journey". They asked Julie to be there to help at the birth of their 2nd child, Connor on September 30. It was a miracle.

Ryan's 27th Birthday!
Saturday September 11, 2004

Ryan turned 27 on the SADDEST day of the year, September 11, but we all made sure he felt loved and happy that day and over the next few days. We had dinner with Al and Erin (brother and sister-in-law) in MN, and then we had a party with the Packer game on Monday night, the 13th. He got a great WI shirt as a present and funny thing, on his cake we had candles that made him 97, because the store had no 2s!! Here's to another great year, Ryan.

Today was Ryan's first ever Father's Day!!! He got a great breakfast, some cute cards, and the votes are in...he IS the "World's Greatest Dad!" He got a T-shirt to prove it! He wore that t-shirt proudly to church and the Haack Family's traditional Father's Day picnic in Middleton. It was really a nice day for him.

Because Opa and Oma Grahmann were in Ukraine and because we all had our own Easter celebrations where we live, we had to set aside a time for all of us to be together for Easter. We dyed eggs and ate our huge Easter dinner together on Saturday. It was a great time together!

This was Sam's first Easter, and the "Easter Bunny" came in the night and brought chocolate for him (which mommy had to eat...). Sam and Julie had a great time looking for the eggs and playing with the new Easter friends Sam got!

We went back to Como Community Church, where Ryan was the Youth Director (in 2002-2003) to celebrate our Easter with them. We stood out by the "tomb" to sing hymns and hear about Jesus being raised from the dead for our sins. It was chilly, but beautiful with the sun slowly coming up and warming our backs. Then we got to eat the yummy Easter breakfast of eggs, little sausages and danishes. We love those sausages! The ladies of the church and the pastor and his family (the Braatz's) were incredible to us and loved Sammy!
