I'm stuffing my face with some of Bek's shortbread cake/cookie. It was good too! This was right after I found out I weighed about 15 pounds more than her dad!!! (no offense Chuck)

Eric and I have a tradition of always participating in Lockheed Martin's Fighter 5k race the weekend before Thanksgiving. This year Gideon and I walked it together with the Grahams. This is his second race believe it or not. He helped me run the ING Half Marathon earlier this year! (That was before we realized we had already conceived)

Rebekah - the GREATEST friend - took a bunch of prego pictures for Eric and I. (I have them narrowed down to about 50 something like I like!!!) Here are two fun ones.

I'm dancing with Elvis on Hollywood Blvd in Las Angeles. My best friend Bek flew me out there for that one last girlfriends weekend. It was awesome.

Supposedly, at 18 weeks, our baby was the size of a sweet potato. I thought it would be fun to see.

No this is not an alcoholic beverage! Eric and I and Kim and Jordyn went on one of the best vacations you could possible take - a Disney Cruise. I had a little trouble the first night with motion sickness but after that all was well.

Yes, I went shopping for pregnancy clothes way too early. I had one of my only really really nauseous moments in the Motherhood store .

All the women out there who have tried to get pregnant know how it is. You take that little test a hundred times - usually before you're supposed to because you just cannot wait to know . . . . Then that magical moment comes - the test says "pregnant" and all of a sudden you don't believe it!!! and you retest and retest just to make sure.

I can't even begin to explain the shock and wonder I felt when I realized that I was truly pregnant. I was definitely doing a lot of thanksgiving to God.
