Believe it or not, Eric picked out the color for Gideon's name letters. I wanted to do a tan or beige type color and it looked horrible. Eric kept joking about doing "orange and blue" so I humored him. I should listen to him more often!!! =)

All the furniture is an "expresso" stain. The crib is a Baby's Dream crib which is a cross between the normal drop-side cribs and the modern convertible cribs.

You can't really see it sitting in the crib but we have this great mobile that shines an aquatic scene on the ceiling at night. It's like those glow-in-the-dark ceiling stickers that people used as a kid (I'd still use them if Eric would let me - he he). I bet this mobile will end up being more entertainment for Eric and I than Gideon but it sure is fun.

This is the awesome shelf that Eric and my dad built. It turned out exactly how I pictured in my head!!!
