Christmas 2005
We had a wonderful Christmas this year as you will see.  Christmas Eve we went to church with Mom-Mom and Bill and then came home and put our Christmas PJ's on so Mom-Mom could read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" before we fed the riendeer and put cookies and milk out for Santa Claus.  Finally, we got Chloe to bed around 10:00 and proceeded to get everything ready for the next morning!

The next morning came much earlier than expected as Mommy got a 4:00 AM wake up call from a very excited Chloe!  We convinced her to stay in bed with us until 5:30 when she finally started threatening to go downstairs all by herself.  So, Mommy woke up Daddy and we proceeded downstairs to see what Santa brought!

Once we got down there, Chloe was a little bit confused and was looking FOR Santa!  She thought that he would be there.  (Maybe one year, we can get him)  Once we cleared that up and she became aware of the presents that were by the tree, we got "These are mine!?"  It was so cute!  She tore right into them and still to this day is looking for more to open!

After opening those presents, Beez, Pop, Nay-Nay and Brady came over with even more presents to open!  Then, in case she wasn't spoiled enough already, Mom-Mom and Bill came over with even MORE!  I would say she had a decent Christmas!  (Papa and Nana gave her their presents last weekend!)

So, after an abundance of Dora, we were all getting ready for dinner and Chloe finally at 5:00 crashed HARD!  Poor baby was so exhausted she fell asleep sitting up while playing her new Dora VSmile game!  LOL

Anyway, check out the pictures and the video!  Enjoy!

December 23 ~ Devers Open House
The gang's all here!
Mommy and Daddy had a night out!  Their very good friend Lisa's parents threw an Open house like they do every year and this year, we made it a point to go and see everyone!  Chloe stayed overnight at the elder Schlack's residence and Mommy and Daddy made a night out of it!  It was so nice to see everyone and catch up and have lots of laughs!  Mommy even managed to stay awake until after 1:00 AM, which is a miracle these days since she is usually asleep with Chloe by 9:00 PM!  LOL

Wilmington Moms Holiday Party
December 10, 2005
Last weekend, we had our Moms Group Holiday party and what a party it was!  All of our friends were there and we did crafts and ate lots of food and even Santa and Mrs. Claus came by for a visit with a special treat for all of the kids!  You must check out the pictures from this as it truly was a special day for all!

American Helicopter Museum ~ Santa Claus is coming
Saturday we went with our buddies Eddie and Ms. Geri to see Santa arrive in a helicopter at the American Helicopter Museum.  It was lots of fun as we got to see and sit in many different types of helicopters and then watch as Santa Claus flew in on a helicopter.  It was a little cold, but well worth it to see the smiles on both of thier little faces.  We then patiently waited for our turn to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what we wanted for Christmas.  Both Chloe and Eddie were so well behaved!  You can see more pictures from this here!

We went to see Santa
and Chloe LOVED it!!!
The difference between her reaction this year vs. last year was amazing!  She walked right up to him, sat on his lap and talked to him right away.  "Hi Santa!"  and he said "What's your name" and she said "Chloe Schlack" and then he asked her if she was good and she said "Nice" since we have been telling her that Santa only comes if she's nice, not naughty!  LOL  She loved talking to him and told him right away what she wanted for Christmas ... they grow up so fast!!!

Thanksgiving 2005
Our Thanksgiving started out the weekend before when we went to visit Papa and Nana.  Chloe had lots of fun playing, while Mommy slept most of the weekend and Daddy got some work done.  We also made some cookies with Papa.  There are pictures from the weekend in our Photo Album.

Thanksgiving morning, we headed to Mom-Mom and Bills for a yummy breakfast (Santa shaped french toast for Chloe~ very creative, Mom-Mom).  Then, Mom-Mom painted Chloes nails for the big day.  There are pictures of that, too!

Finally, we headed to Beez & Pops for a scrumptious Thanksgiving dinner!  Mommy crashed on the couch while Daddy did some shopping online and Chloe drove everyone crazy running around the house all day!  :)

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Kindercare Halloween Parade
Every year, the kids at school get dressed up and parade around the building.  This year, they are even supplying pizza for the kids for dinner so that they can go trick-or-treating right away!  Last year Chloe was the cutest bee ever.  Wait until you see her this year!!!

Party and Trick-or-Treating at Miss Chrissy's
We have a Holloween party to go to at Miss Chrissy's house and then we are all going trick-or-treating around her neighborhood.  Chloe will love hanging out with all her friends this year!

Chloe has started potty training!
Last week was the first official week of potty training at school.  She did an awesome job.  However, after several accidents at home, I think we have decided to limit the time in panties while she is at home.  We believe that she is still not quite ready for the full fledge training at home.  She doesn't quite understand the concept yet and we have decided not to rush her.  We will keep you posted though!

What else is new?
FLYERS are back!

After a very long off-season, our Philadelphia Flyers are back!  Daddy could not be happier and we already have a little cheerleader at home to help root them on.  Chloe is so cute when she says "Let's Go Flyers!"

Mommy is in her 2nd trimester!
Check out the Pregnancy Journal for more info!

Mommy and Daddy have been married 6 years!
That's right, on Sunday October 9, we have been married 6 years!  I know it's hard to believe and I'll bet none of you had 6 years plus 1 1/2 kids on the pool!  We went out to dinner on Saturday night to Mommy's favorite restaurant ... The Melting Pot!  Yummy!

Aunt Karyn and Aunt Lisa are turning 31!
We are hoping to be able to go out to dinner and celebrate with them, but everyone's schedules are so jam packed these days!

Aunt Karyn and Uncle Michael went to see U2!
UPDATE : Mommy was sick so she sold her ticket to Uncle Michael.  I am sure they had a great time, but Mommy is very sad that she missed the show.

Monday, October 17th, we are headed to watch the greatest live rock band ever!  Unfortunately, when these tickets were bought neither Aunt Karyn or I were planning on being pregnant, so the partying will be minimal but the concert is still gonna rock!!!
