Mailee had made several attempts to smile, but it is hard when you don't feel good! Sometimes the smiles would go away so fast, Mommy couldn't get the camera fast enough. Today she smiled with Daddy and Mommy! What a blessing! Our little girl is happy!!!

I think I caught Mailee laughing at the characters that hang from her swing this morning! What a cutie!!! I couldn't get to the camera fast enough to catch it, though...Too Bad!

Mailee has been trying very hard to roll over for a while now. This evening, she did it with ease. I think it scared her, it was so easy.

Today Mailee was given the go ahead to begin rice cereal. Hopefully it'll help her sleep better and stop waking every 2 hours! We'll see tonight.

I had noticed that Mailee was extra crabby all day on Sunday and now I know why!!! Her first bottom tooth is poking its way through and the top on is closely following! Both the right side... Pictures to come as soon as she lets me take them. Right now, she just sticks her tongue out!

OK, so I am not saying she's a star, or anything, but anyone who can push out 8 teeth in 1 week, before her 6-month birthday, deserves some credit!!!

OK, if you care what your kid eats, don't leave them with Auntie Amy at snacktime! Tee Hee! I think Mailee has developed a special place in her heart (and tummy) for her Auntie!
  

With Auntie Amy, Mailee experienced her first lollipop, frosting, and red vine (a great teether, by the way!)

Mailee is making attempts at walking. This morning she lunged toward the couch and had to run her legs to keep up with the outstretched arms. Johnny and I decided this counts as steps, although she is not walking yet. Soon, very soon!
