Several years back we started a tradition of the Great Pumpkin. Mom found a big felt countdown calendar for Halloween with pockets to hold a surprise for each day. This has turned out to be quite a tradition and this is the first year you and your brother understand what is going on.

Every day there is a little note from the Great Pumpking telling you where your surpise is hidden. Some days the surprise is to all three of you. Some days it is just for one of you. This year Evija reads the note and you each go running to find the treat. Tonight, you asked to read the card first. You sat in Mommy's lap and paused as you looked at the card. Then after some though you read the card out loud.

You read .... "ME turn!" We all cracked up.

Last night we asked you if you knew where milk comes from. You answered, "The Refridgerator" and ran off to get some. Today we took you to the Great Peter Pumpkin Patch at Spring Hill Cheese in Petaluma, and you got to meet your first cow. You had NO reservation and when asked you walked right up and milked her. You didn't even need your big sister to show you first. You were fearless and oh so proud.
