Little one,
Today we found out some crazy news that neither of us suspected.  It was 3 long minutes, waiting with mixed emotions for the digital screen to tell us the news.  Our mouths dropped wide open as we read "Pregnant" on the digital screen.  There was no doubt about if we saw a plus or minus, it said "Pregnant".  After the initial shock and disbelief, reality sank in and we became excited.  From this day on, our lives are changed, and we will begin to prepare for you, our little miracle.  Now don't tell anyone yet.  It's our secret.  We can't wait to meet you.

We are so excited today because we are going to tell your Grandparent's the good news.  We have picked out two little books to give them that will tip them off of our secret.  You should have seen the excitement on Larry and Rae's face when they heard the good news.  They are so excited and can't wait to meet you as well.  We are so excited and it is so much fun to tell everyone about you.  Tomorrow we will tell my family.  You are already so much fun.

Now there are more people that can't wait to meet you.  Even though you are only 6 weeks old, you already have so many fans.  We made this little book that had pictures hinting that Mommy was pregnant and then a picture of the pregnancy test.  You Aunt Lindsay knew right away and Uncle Pete, Uncle Matt, and Aunt Amanda were soon to follow.  Granna and Papa soon thereafter got the hints.  They all went crazy and couldn't believe the good news.  It's amazing how happy you have made us all and we haven't even met you yet.  We love you.

I have never been as anxious and excited as I was waiting to see your little picture in the US today.  You were so tiny, and your little heart was beating so well.  We have some great pictures of you from the US.  Your grandparents were so happy to see the pictures of you.  I printed out copies of you and am keeping them with me in my white coat to show everyone.  We are so excited and are having so much fun starting to plan for your arrival.  We just can't wait to know you better.

Today we got to see some more pictures of you and you were so cute.  It was amazing how much you have grown.  The doctor said that you look completely healthy and that you are doing great.  Your mom and I are so excited and we can't wait to find out if you are a little boy or little girl.  We love you so much.

Well Parke, it is nice to put a name and identity to you.  We are so excited to be having a little boy and your mom and I went crazy buying all kinds of cool clothes for you.  I wish you could have heard how excited all of your grandparents were and everyone else.  I promise big guy to try and be an amazing role model like my dad.  I can't wait to do all kinds of fun things with you.

Well buddy, I am going to miss you and mommy so much.  I have to leave for Air Force training.  I will be gone for one month but hopefully, you and mommy might be able to come up and visit me.  Now, take care of your mom while I am gone and I will see you soon.

I had so much fun with you and mommy while you guys visited this weekend.  I can't believe that you will be coming soon.  I had a blast feeling you move and pressing on your little feet when you put them on mommy's stomach.  I really can't wait to get home and start working on your room.  We are so excited and keep up the good work.  I love you buddy.

Hey little one.  Your Aunt Lindsay and Aunt Amanda threw one heck of a party for you at Granna's house and so many of our closest friends came.  We had so much fun and heard some exciting news...My friend Brian is having a baby also that is going to be around your age.  You already have so many little friends that will be waiting to play with you.  See you soon.

Alight big guy, Mommy, Papa, Granna, Gigi and me cleared the room out for you and we are going to start painting tomorrow.  I am glad to have my test over and we can finally start getting things completely ready for you.  Your mom picked out an awesome color for your room and all the cool stuff we got at last weekends shower matches it perfectly.  I am so excited and you are going to love it buddy.  I love you.

Alright, the walls are painted, the carpets are clean, the furniture is placed and we are officially ready for you buddy.  I know that you need to stay in there a little while longer, but if you decide to come early, it would be okay with us.  We are so excited and can't wait to see you. Love.

Mommy and I got a new car today.  You are going to love it.  Unfortunately you will never get to meet the Civic that made it from Undergrad through med school and from Florida to Colorado, California and Ohio.  That car was amazing but I know you are going to love the new jeep.  We are going to put your seat in our cars tomorrow.  Love you buddy.

I can't believe that it is already September.  It seems like yesterday that we found out that we were going to be expecting a precious little one.  The time has really flown by and now it is almost upon us.  We are ready for you buddy, so come anytime.

We got one final picture of you today.  I was so jealous because Mommy took Granna and Gigi to her appointment because I was stuck in Orlando on a rotation.  You look so handsome and I know that you are going to be a beautiful baby.  You are on the big side, so the good news is that we will probably see you a week early.  Yeah...  See you soon.

Finally the day is here.  Today if all goes well, we will all be able to meet you.  As I write this journal sitting next to you and your mom sleeping in the hospital bed, I have so many emotions running through me.  I am so proud of you and am amazed by your mom.  She has taken such great care of you during this pregnancy.  She is such an amazing woman and I can't wait for you to meet her.  We are two of the luckiest men in the world.  Hurry up and come, and you will see what I mean.  I love you buddy and I can't wait to see you.
