Baby Daliah is a month old now! She's doing very well with her new surroundings and mom/dad are starting to get used to her routine. She's over 9lbs in weight !

Hi again...has this been a month of change! Daliah has gone from being a sleepy newborn to a fun and interactive baby! She can now coo, smile, sit up with some help, play and did I say coo!? She also seems to recognize us and enjoys being around new faces and other children. She recently had her shots (:-() and was a real trooper! She now weighs in at 10.5 lbs and is 22 inches long. Tune in for next month's update soon!

This month Daliah has made several new discoveries! She's discovered her voice (and its potential volume!), her hands (she especially enjoys her thumb), and for her favorite pick of all, her feet!!! She spends lots of time in her favorite "stradle" position (yes, holding onto her feet at the same time)...perhaps she's warming up to become a gymnast! She is also very close to officially "rolling over". She usually changes her mind 3/4's of the way there!

Daliah took her first plane ride this month to Calgary Alberta where she visited with lots of uncles and aunties! She was such a great traveller and earned the title of "best travel bunny ever!" We can't wait to take her on another trip soon!

Hello Family and Friends,

Firstly, sorry for the delay in updating the site. You have all been so good about asking when the next pictures will be available and they're finally here! I now know the key is not let myself get behind cuz there's no telling when I'll finally get to it!

Anyway, let's talk Daliah. Well remember how she was doing the stradle thing with her legs...well, get this! She's managed to put her big toe in her mouth!!! Yup, we definitely have a gymnast on our hands! It's the cutest (but most awkward) thing to see. We're so busy laughing that we still haven't snapped a photo of  it!

Other updates are that she's the cutest elephant by far (Halloween costume), is almost sitting up on her own and loves to put anything and everything in her mouth! (I think she may be teething). She's also gracing us by sleeping through the nights (this is BIG for all of you who don't have kids yet) and can now really chat up a storm when she wants to be heard. Oh, she also loves to "fake cough" and clear her throat (I think she likes the attention). She also loves our mom and baby yoga classes and tries to mimick all my moves...! (she's still working on getting the head stand right!)

All in all, she's a joy and truly a blessing from above! Our upcoming challenge will be starting rice cereal and then food so stay tuned for next time!

Daliah's rolling over!!! She now recongnizes her name when called and sits up like a big girl! She gives us lots of hugs and kisses and can look us straight in the eye! (kinda took us by surprise the first few times!). She's getting to be a real cereal trooper and loves making a big food mess! She sometimes practices standing up! But this month, her two new luv affairs have got to be analyzing labels and sitting up!
