We paid for a commemorative stone at the Detroit Zoo with Joshua's name and birthday. At first I thought it looked creepy, like a grave marker, but it's actually cool. There are whole walkways of them at the zoo around Rackham Fountain.
It was finally installed, so we headed out to the zoo to see it. |

| Here's what we've been up to in Joshua's seventh month. Believe it or not, he'll be 8 months old this week...that's shocking to me. He is so much fun at this age. I would love to just stay here forever! He's crawling, babbling, chasing the dog all over the house, kneeling in his crib and pulling himself up. How can this be the same tiny baby I carried around in the crook of my arm? |

| The last month has been fun - Joshua woke up and is a busy little beaver. Playing with toys, tripoding like a fool, rolling, scooting around, kicking and laughing. I'm seeing a real glimpse of the boy now, rather than the baby...he's going to be fun! |

| Joshua is nearly four months old! At times it's absolutely amazing to me that it's been so long...and at other times, it feels like we've had him forever. |

Yesterday Joshua turned 3 months old...still smiling away and laughing, babbling to himself. He now grabs at toys and holds them, clasps his hands together, and hangs onto us, his bottle, anything he can get his hands on...
This boy is looooong...I had to switch to 3-6 month pajamas because his legs don't fit in his 0-3s! I think he got Nate's height and not mine...thankfully! |

| 10 weeks old |

| 10 weeks old already, if you can believe that. Last week I packed up the outfit he wore home from the hospital and was shocked...he was absolutely swimming in it when we came home, and now it looks so tiny...he was 7lbs, 1/2 ounce when we brought him home, and Joshua is now 13lbs, 3 oz. and 24" long...time is sure passing quickly! |

Joshua is six weeks old now...in some ways it seems impossible that he's so old, and at the same time it feels like he's been here forever...
He holds his head up and looks around, and smiles all the time. 10lbs, 14oz - growing like a weed! Still skinny as can be, and looooong - he just may turn out to be tall like his dad... |
