KayLee's nana brought her back mickey mouse ears from her trip to Disney World.  At first it was just another hat.  But now it has become her "riding" hat.  Its the cutest thing.  Anytime KayLee wants to ride on her rocking horse she HAS to have her ears on.  She climbs on top of it and yells Yee-Haw! 

KayLee is talking so much now.  Anything we say, she immediately repeats.  She just learned to say DVD and she makes a DVD request at least every five minutes.  Her favorite one right now is her "princesses" Which, amazingly, she can say perfectly. 

She loves to give out hugs. Kisses are rare but when she does give them, watch out! 

Her favorite toys are anything Wiggles, especially Wags and Dorothy.  She likes to take Wags everywhere! 

KK is at the age where she is a little stink. She will do something she knows she isn't supposed to (like pull my hair) and have a smile on her face the whole time. She must get that from her dad :-) KayLee and her Nana are flying to San Antonio this weekend. It will be her second airplane trip, but her first one where she doesn't want to be held. I'm sure Nana will have lots of stories to share.

No more crawling for this girl. She started walking on October 24, 2004. We are very proud! New words for her are "kitty, get (when she sees the kitty), and thank you. I know, shes advanced!

KK has been amazing us all! Out of no where she started putting her elbow to her ear and saying "hello" then she will ask for her "dada". I guess I talk on the phone way too much!! Right now she is taking 3-4 steps at a time, so we know any day now she will be walking around and running from us. She also has a new favorite word, Uh-Oh! She drops stuff just so she can say Uh-Oh. We have one smart cookie on our hand!!

 KayLee has FINALLY cut some teeth! They came Sunday, Sept. 12Th. She also experienced her first ear infection (I hated it! There was nothing I could do for her :-(
Better news: KK can stand by herself for about 30 seconds, but when she realizes what she is doing, she falls. She walks around by holding the couch and moving from one sofa to the other.
KK is the happiest baby in the world. She has this bouncing thing she does when she gets excited, she has almost bounced herself right off the bed. She is also easily amused! The girl laughs at any and everything, boy does that help our comedian egos!

Just as I predicted, the girl is crawling! She started crawling June 14th, She is very advanced. She has had a lot of firsts these past few weeks. She flew in an airplane, she started crawling, she went swimming, and she had her first taste of icecream. Boy did she love that icecream!!

June 10, 2004: KayLee is 6 months old now and curious as ever! She puts everything straight in her mouth. I give her a week and she will be crawling everywhere! Her last Doctors appointment was June 7th; she weighed 17lbs 10ozs and 26in long, WOW!

April 14, 2004: Kaylee is 4 1/2 months to date. She strated turning over from her back to front on March 26th, She weighed 14lbs 13 ozs at her four month check up, and she tried cereal for the first time today! Wow, she has been busy!! She also talks non stop, she laughs, and is so much fun to play with. Jacob and I couldn't be more proud!!

March 23, 2004: KayLee is 3 (almost 4) months old now! She is getting too big for her britches, or at least she thinks so!! She has been playing with toys that are for babies twice her age and she demands that she be sitting up at all times!! She is so smart and beautiful, Jake and I are very blessed! We took her to the doctor last week and she weighed 13lbs 8ozs, she's getting so chunky that her cheeks hang down to her chest (its absolutely adorable!!)

January 22, 2004: KayLee is about to be two months old now. Time is going by so quickly! She smiles a lot and loves to play with her daddy in the morning.

We are so excited that KayLee is finally here. Jacob and I are learning a lot these first few days.
